👉 When taking admission, you should have a clear understanding of that college.

👉 Make sure that the college is approved by the university/government.

👉 When choosing a college for courses like nursing, make sure that it is approved by the university and the nursing council of the respective state.

👉 In some states, entrance exams are the criteria. Try to know that.

For example: In Karnataka, K. C. E. T (KCET, Karnataka Common Entrance Text) is the criterion for nursing admission. (Note: Last year it was not mandatory. This year it has not been decided yet)

👉 To know more about the colleges, contact your relatives in that state or church pastors who are experienced and knowledgeable in the field of education.

👉 Since professional courses are mostly four to five years long, and you have to study in hostels for a long time, appoint your close relatives or church pastor as local guardian.

👉 If the children need any medical help or other needs during the study period, the cooperation of relatives, pastor or church is required.

👉 Select colleges in advance and book seats.

👉 While booking seats, try to have the parents come and contact the colleges directly. (Note: Block the seat by paying the advance amount only.)

👉 Make sure that the agents who take the seat through agents are certified and responsible.

👉 If you are transferring the admission amount through agents, make sure that your amount has been received by the college and get a receipt.
